Lisa DeCrescente is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property & Information Technology practice group. Her practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications covering a wide range of medical, mechanical, electrical, and other related technologies.
Lisa joined McCarter & English in 2018 after interning with the firm since 2015. Lisa graduated summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with honors in the Intellectual Property Concentration. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Law Review and a Dean’s Fellowship Scholar. During her time in law school, Lisa received the Academic Excellence award, an award for Service to the Law School, and several Distinguished Academic Achievement Awards. She was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.
Prior to law school, Lisa graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2015 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Lisa spent her summers interning as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Research Center where she performed research on and fabricated microfluidic diagnostic devices.
